We service and restore most makes and models, American or foreign, from 1890 to the present. Digital, mechanical, analog or electronic speedometers, tachometers and small gauges for cars, trucks, boats, military and recreation vehicles, agricultural equipment, etc. You can use your own custom design or our factory artwork on gauge face dials for kit cars, race cars and new car production. No project is too small or too big. We will bench check your gauge for a small fee. Contact us for all your instrument repair, restoration and customizing needs.
We sell
Jeep temperature gauges and a small amount of Surplus Stock, including a few Mercedes clusters. APT provides cables and housings for just about any application except power seat cables and window cables. We also offer Cable X, a simple solution for customers with a mechanical speedometer in a vehicle equipped with an electronic speedo signal. Custom
ratio adapters are available for most vehicles.
Instructions have been provided here for conducting a Ratio Test which will tell you if your error is in the speedometer gauge itself or if it's caused by cable delivery from your transmission. In general, if the tires or transmission, including differential, has been or will be altered, the ratio must be adjusted. There's also a Troubleshooting Guide to help in identifying your gauge problems. Pricing We encourage your phone or email inquires about our services. Please send us your instruments for an evaluation at no charge. Remember, every job is unique. See our shipping and handling instructions before shipping. We will contact you upon receipt to give you a firm quote, discuss with you exactly what you want, and give you an estimated turnaround time.
