SPEED CORRECTION DEVICES

        APT makes custom ratio adapters for any type vehicle.  See adapter prices below.  We also have the Electronic Speed Adapter (ESA).

        Ratio adapters are used to correct inaccurate speedometer operation resulting from a change in a vehicle's transmission, axle ratio, tire or wheel size.  Offset and 90 degree adapters can help with speedo cable routing problems and can reverse cable delivery if necessary (i.e., boat motors).  There's a wide variety of adapters, including electronic adapters for late model vehicles which are easy to use and easy to install.   We use Stewart-Warner, Clark Brothers, and Smiths adapters.
