                            GAUGE AND CLUSTER RESTORATION

APT Instruments is well known for its fine gauge and instrument restoration work on antique, classic, vintage and muscle cars.   We can completely restore virtually any automotive gauge from the 1890s to the modern.  We custom design and manufacture face dials to your specifications with either your artwork or ours.  You can have face dials with the colors, fonts and artwork that are unique to you.  Put your nickname, logo or emblem on any dial.   Whatever you can imagine....the possibilities are limitless.  See some of our recent work in our Restoration Gallery, then contact us about your instrument restoration needs.

Our work has been featured in Rod & Custom, High Performance Mopar, Antique Cycle, The Green Magazine, and Challenger Resto Guide.  In October 2000, APT was featured in the "Flyin' Ryan '32 Roadster" article in Rod & Custom.  One of our projects, a 29 Ford Tudor Highboy, is featured in the July 05 issue of Rod & Custom.

If you are a perfectionist who wants your gauges to look as good as they did in the show room, APT can deliver.   All work is done in-house by trained and experienced technicians with meticulous dedication to the highest quality and finest detail.  We do not use stickers or decals.  We strip, paint and print every time.

Pricing    We cannot give you a quote until we see the gauges and determine the type of work and time required.  Every restoration job is unique.  Please send us your instruments for an evaluation at no charge.  See our S&H Iinstructions before shipping.  We will contact you within 24 hours of receipt to give you a firm quote, discuss with you exactly what you want, and give you an estimated turnaround time.  Please do not email us for a quote.

Turnaround Time     Complete restorations may take 2-4 weeks, depending on time of year and extent of work required.  Springtime is a very busy time for us, so expect delays.

Payment    We require 50% down before beginning any restoration job.

We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, money orders and checks.   Dealer purchase orders are accepted with prior approval.
